Although only 4 days in the strike, ver.di union’s decision of starting a strike for a 9.8 per cent increase in pay for the 50.000 ground and cabin personnel is taking its toll on Germany’s skyes.

It seems too good to be true. If you think about the city, the accommodations, and the consider the price at which these are provided, you’ll probably book right away at the Bavaria. Everything seems to be in walking distance, and Munich is a wonderful city to visit by foot. The buffet was great, my wife loved the fresh coffee and pastries in the morning, and the room was spotless and was kept that way throughout our 1 week stay. It had all you can ask for, from two of everything in the bathroom to free wireless Internet – my kids are addicted a bit so this helped. The new furniture was of course a big plus. Only thing it could use would be some air conditioning and a better TV system – but who sits to watch the tube when you can go throughout the beautiful city.

Much more than just a birth place for one of the most important rivers in Europe, the Black Forest of Germany is a true reference point for the country, with the city of Pforzheim as its “gate”, a city famous for for its jewelry and watch-making industries .

A rustic establishment located on the outskirts of Koln, in the small town named Bergisch Gladbach. There’s a classy feeling that takes hold of you as you enter the place. Long curtains decorating the large halls, the candles lit on every table, a picturesque look of the outside building and a great view of the garden from within the medieval structure.
